Who gets to the top in Network Marketing?


We all want success in network marketing. Some just want it, but some are willing to work for it.

When you saw the network marketing business model, you were probably like me. I thought in my head, “If I can just recruit 5 ambitious people, and they go out and build huge businesses, I will make money on everything they do! Wow, so I just need to go find five and sit back and collect my checks. So cool!”

Yep, that’s what I thought at age 24. It was so refreshing to think that I would not have to work as hard as my parents did in building their real estate company. Heck, I was two years into my real estate career and already working my booty off.

What I actually learned as I got going in my network marketing business is that the people at the top worked hard to get there too. But the key is it was more worth it once they got there than if they were in a job working up that ladder. They still worked hard to get to the top in network marketing.

Strong work ethic is required for success, no two ways about it. So what if you don’t have good work ethic? It is learned by modeling what you witnessed growing up. So what if you didn’t have good role models?

There is hope!

You can still be learn by watching the right examples in your company, or mentors like me who are still in the trenches, fighting the good fight and building every day.
